East Riding of Yorkshire PCT (ERYPCT) developed a fully implemented falls and osteoporosis pathway.  The main objective was to reduce the number of falls resulting in serious injury and ensure effective treatment, rehabilitation and support for those who have fallen.

Scenario Generator was used to model existing and proposed activity and costs arising from falls in current health care provision.  ERYPCT modeled proposed new service and used Scenario Generator’s powerful ‘what-if’ functionality to test and compare scenarios around the A&E diversionary pathway.
