Social care prevalence data used for Scenario Generator is taken from POPPI www.poppi.org.uk and PANSI www.pansi.org.uk. These tools are developed by the Institute of Public Care (IPC) for the Care Services Efficiency Delivery Programme (CSED) and produce data for use by local authority planners and commissioners of social care provision in England, together with providers and supporting organisations to explore the possible impact that demography and certain conditions.

The Scenario Generator uses the national default data to power the model, but this can be overwritten by local data also available on POPPI and PANSI
