The latest version of Scenario Generator includes social care service pathways and represents a particularly powerful model for looking at strategic and operational decisions in the development of integrated service pathways.

The social care pathways allow users to model the impact of demand on services and any change in service configuration in the same way as the healthcare pathways, but the demand is driven by prevalence data based on the likelihood of a people in the population needing social care, rather than a disease-based prevalence.

Having healthcare and social care pathways in Scenario Generator now allows users both to plan services from their own understanding of need and demand AND to share that understanding across health and social care.
