Training

All new licence holders are strongly advised to undertake introductory training to ensure they derive maximum benefits from using Scenario Generator. For NHS Institute license holders, claiming their license before end June 2009, a day’s training is available free of charge.

Supplementary training can be provided over the Internet (using WebEx) in group training sessions and on-site.

Internet-based training: £120 per hour.

Public training classes: £495 per new user at a number of locations around England.

In-house training at your PCT (or other organisation) for new users of Scenario Generator: £995 for up to 3 users.

Additional Support

Decision Making Modelling Package: £9,800.

This is a work package delivered by SIMUL8 Corporation’s experienced simulation consultants and the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement’s simulation and modelling lead. This is designed to help a senior management team get an answer to an analytical question suited to Scenario Generator. While not all questions fit a fixed block of time, our experience shows us that typical single PCT one-off capacity planning decisions can be tackled in this twelve day block of time (including appropriate data gathering, issue structuring workshop, simulation pathway building, and final management decision workshop and report). If you might need our help with a project call to discuss or book one of these packages for use at any time in the next year.

Simulation in support of NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement Products

If you would like to undertake modelling and simulation alongside any of the other products offered by NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, we can jointly provide you with a bespoke service. To discuss this further email simulation@institute.nhs.uk or admin@scenario-generator.com

Technical Support

Technical support is offered by email (support@scenario-generator.com) and telephone free for the first 12 months, and covered by the annual maintenance fee of £3,600 per license thereafter.

Note: for PCT users with the licenses funded by NHS Institute, your license is already covered by maintenance for the first 12 months, however you can make payments at any time to extend your maintenance beyond that date to ensure support and upgrades continue automatically at today’s prices.

Online Community

An Online User Community is available in which users may participate in discussions, submit articles, tips and events, and share pathways and scenarios through an on-line Library.

User Group Meetings
